On the top of the world! Our home is in a small town nestled within the Tuscany mountains. A half hour drive from all necessary needs and all fun activities like; thermal baths, ski resort, shopping, canoeing, fishing etc. In town there are friendly helpful people, used to having people from abroad in town. There are approximately 60 regular habitants in the winter and in the summer many empty homes are rented.
The view from our home is fabulous. We are located on the top of the mountain (last house) and privacy is practically garanteed!!!! Limano is easily found. It is located close to Lucca (historical city), about a 35 min drive. It is also a 30 min drive from Abetone ski resort! The lovely flowing river of Lima is located at the beginning of the mountain road, 5 minutes from the home. You can either walk down the mountain on the trail or take your car with the family for a great swim.
