"Casa Selvella" is a restored, traditional Italian country house situated in Umbria, the "green heart" of Italy, close to the border with Tuscany and just 10 minutes away from Lake Trasimeno, Italy's fourth largest lake. Surrounded by fields of sunflowers, olive groves and rolling hills and mountains, there are breathtaking views of this beautiful region of Italy.
The house is well-placed to provide an ideal base for exploring Umbria and Tuscany with excellent road and rail links. In a journey of not more than 2 hours you can see 20% of the world's artistic heritage at places like: Perugia (40 Km), Assisi (50 Km), Gubbio (56 Km),
Cortona (18 Km), Chiusi (10 Km) and Siena (70 Km).
Lake Trasimeno and its environs has national park status, 18 beaches, wildlife sanctuaries and a wealth of lakeside towns and villages. A regular ferry service runs between towns on the shores of the lake out to the 3 islands; Maggiore, Minore and Polvese.
