We have a unique room for you, one group once, no other guests would bother you during your stay. We are located at the west mountains area of Kyoto city, you can enjoy city view, mountains view with amazing sunrise, sunset and night views. We promise to bring you peace and calmness every day during your stay! We have a ground piano and a gym corner in the house. You can enjoy them freely. Shower is available 24hs. Working as a university professor, the host is engaged in research and teaching as well. We like to communicate with our dear guests in English, Japanese and Chinese as well. Some brief transportation information is listed for your reference. Higashikatsurazaka/東桂坂 bus stop is 3min to our house on foot. You can easily find out the optionally instant routes by inputting Higashikatsurazaka bus stop on Google Map. From Kyoto Station, you can take bus No.21/21A(heading for Kyoto University Katsura campus) to Higashikatsurazaka/東桂坂bus stop. In addition, Katsura station/桂駅 (Hankyu train/阪急電車) or JR Katsuragawa station/桂川駅 is about 15min away by bus from Higashikatsurazaka /東桂坂 bus stop. For your living information, a supermarket (イズミヤ桂坂店), a convenience store (Family Mart) and a drug store (ユタカ) are 15min by walking through a beautiful park. University restaurant is only 5min by walk. A local popular hot spring with sauna is 3min by bus. Parking is available if you come by a rental car. We can supply pickup and delivery service by my car from train stations (JR Katsuragawa station or Hankyu Katsura station ) to our location by additional fees. Holiday season is from Dec.23 to Jan.5. The kitchen is open for guests during this period , the details shown in the rules.
