Charming and cosy, this 17th-century cottage embodies a classic Cotswolds stay. It's bursting with character – we're talking wooden beams, a stone hearth, sloped floors, and steep stairs leading to the rustic main bedroom. Here, mornings call for hearty breakfasts in the eat-in kitchen, while evenings are best spent curled up in front of the fire. There's also a garden if you fancy some fresh air and pretty countryside views. Outdoor enthusiasts will have access to scenic walks on the doorstep. For those looking to explore further afield, you'll find Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford within driving distance.
*There's a single bedroom here, but it's only suitable for a small child. It's accessed through the main bedroom. Please speak to your host if you'd like to use this room.
*Your host can provide a cot and high chair upon request if you're travelling with little ones.
*A small freezer is located in the garden shed, not the kitchen.
*Parking is located at the end of the lane – about 75 yards away – though you will be able to pull up to the front door to unload.
*Between October and March, your host provides an initial supply of logs for one fire. Additional supplies will need to be purchased locally.
*The local pub, The Seven Tuns, is currently closed but is hopefully re-opening soon.
