Catherine Wheel feels far bigger than it should thanks to the high ceiling, which is beautifully decorated and gives the flat its focal point. There are a few other pretty period details, like the fireplace (unfortunately only for show, these days) and a little balcony overlooking the street. You’re in a very convenient location, although not the most evocative. But the station is nearby and you’re a bit removed from the throngs of tourists that seem to march back and forth between the Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps.

*There's air conditioning but only in the bedroom
*Similarly, the TV is in the bedroom
*Two guests will be on a double sofa bed, also in the bedroom
*There's no washing machine
*The street outside is pretty busy and there's some traffic noise
