Nestled within an 800-hectare estate of woodlands and fields, this villa caught our eye for its incredible views over the Tuscan countryside. With a barbecue, pizza oven and shaded outdoor table, alfresco dining is easy here. And while the traditional decor inside may not appeal to everyone, the home certainly has lots of character. To make your holiday even more memorable, your host can help arrange a variety of experiences, including wine tastings to sample the local produce. And when you’re ready to explore, the historic town of San Gimignano is just fifteen kilometres away.
*The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
*This home is situated on a grain-producing estate with another farmhouse nearby.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's parking available, but the villa is accessed by a 600m long, unpaved road.
*The swimming pool is open from 2nd May to 10th October. It is 1.2m to 1.9m deep and is unfenced so if you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom here.
