This rustic Italian retreat looks out over a peaceful Umbrian valley, yet it’s only a short walk into the historic centre of Amelia for the local cheese shop, bars, bakeries and grocery shops. Covered outdoor lounges beneath rose-dappled pergolas and a summer kitchen embrace the bucolic life, while the modern swimming pool keeps things in the 21st century. Inside, it feels like the old world in the open kitchen, living and dining room with a working stone hearth for chilly evenings. Each bedroom has a set of French windows opening up to the first-floor or ground-floor terraces and one bedroom has its own entrance from the garden.

*The swimming pool is only available for use between June and September.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.

*Guests have access to all areas of the home, apart from one additional bedroom which will be locked.

*While the village of Amelia is within walking distance, having a car is recommended. There is plenty of private parking at this villa.
