My 3-months stay with Grace and her family was awesome. From the very beginning, I got a lot of help and support with everything from her, her daughter and her partner. Frequently, Grace let me try food some filipino food which I loved! I also had access to a bike which I used a lot to get to work, to go grocery shopping and to explore North York and Toronto in general. After my stay with Grace, I decided to come back to Toronto spontaneously for a short time and she let me stay with her again. Grace and her family live in a quiet area but still with good public transport connections. The closest bus stop is 3 minutes away by foot with which the next subway station can be reached within 12 minutes. Downtown Union Station can be reached within approx. 45 minutes. There is also a plaza close by with a drug mart, Starbucks, and some food shops. The room is pretty bright with a big window, has a built-in closet and a queen-size bed. It is also lockable. There is also a painting over the bed and a shelf under the window to store things in. Approximately every two weeks, the room was cleaned and the bedsheets were changed. There is also a coin laundry and a coin dryer in the house which can be used whenever it is not occupied by someone else. The wifi is also working pretty good. I was free to use the kitchen which is very well-equipped as well as the living room and the dining area. I really felt like home and I would recommend to stay with Grace and her family.

It is lovely house. It is a comfortable and accessible place that has all the facilities that a student needs. The room and closet are spacious. Grace and her family are good people, they all help you if you have any questions and make you feel at home and part of the family. The location is good, the TTC bus stops are nearby and a 10-minute walk from the house, you can find several places to eat, Shoppers, CIBC, etc. In addition, they took me to see Niagara Falls and helped me with all my first paperwork when I first arrived. Totally recommended!! I loved it!!
