We love this luxury villa on the edge of the Sandy Lane Golf Course in Barbados. It’s perfect for large families, special occasions or even weddings – there’s a main house and cottage here, so it’s ideal for people wanting a bit of privacy or space. This Caribbean home is everything you’d wish for and more – it was designed for entertaining. Mini wooden bridges take you to the inviting pool or recline on a lounger and admire the surrounding tropical paintings of flora and fauna. Inside is no less impressive with its striking entrance reception hall with a fishtail palm tree as the centrepiece. Gather everyone around the elegant, antique dining table while the amazing in-house chef rustles up a gourmet meal for you and your guests – we’d be tempted to dine in the whole time. If you do fancy eating out, though, there's an array of restaurants in Holetown, a five-minute drive away, while the gorgeous sands of Sandy Lane Beach are a ten-minute walk.
