There's so much we love about this characterful yet modern flat that we don't know where to begin. There's the truly enormous terrace, for starters. Whether you're dining alfresco, lazing on the lounge chairs or relaxing under the shady pergola, there's more than enough space to spread out and relax in the endless sunshine. Inside is just as lovely, overflowing with traditional features that are quintessentially Spanish. From the vibrant tile floors and stained glass doors to the red, ornate ceiling, there are subtle pops of colour everywhere you look, creating a cheery, contemporary space where you can relax in style. And that's not all we love – all your creature comforts are accounted for, including Netflix on the flatscreen, a fully-stocked kitchen, rainfall showers and air conditioning. Business travellers can check emails and hop on work calls at the separate desk space, but instead of working, we suggest putting a record on the vinyl player, mixing up a cocktail and making the most of the fantastic living area. When it's time to explore, you'll find restaurants, shops and things to do in every direction. Casa Milà is just a seven-minute walk away, while the Cathedral is just a little further, about twenty minutes on foot. And with Girona Metro station a five-minute stroll away, getting around the rest of Barcelona is easy – you can be hitting the beach in twenty.
