Hey hoi!We are Huize Oranje Boven, a mixed house with twelve awesome residents. We are a diverse and cozy house where there is always time for a beer, cup of tea or coffee and a good conversation. Fun and an active student life are our top priorities. For example, almost all of our housemates are active in sports clubs. Tennis, volleyball, football, skating, climbing, korfball, athletics, swimming or just a game of table tennis in the hall... you can find it all with us. We can also be found at almost every flat sports tournament on campus!We have busy schedules, but that doesn't mean we don't sit together. We have a house evening every other week on a different day. Nothing is mandatory and it's always fun! We are looking for a roommate who is looking forward to an active student life, but is also definitely up for some fun at home. Our location on campus is ideal for parties until the early hours without nagging neighbors, but also a wonderfully quiet environment during the day to study hard, because that also has to be done of course. Every weekday we cook and eat together according to a schedule. In the weekend there are also enough people at home to prepare a meal together. In addition, we also have a fixed cleaning schedule, where the living room, kitchen, hall, toilets and shower are cleaned weekly. At the end of 2024, our house will be renovated, giving us completely new sanitary facilities and a renovated living room/kitchen! Huize Oranje Boven has a shared living room/kitchen, a balcony, 2 toilets, a bathroom with 2 real camping shower cubicles, a washing machine and a dryer. To contribute even more to our cozy atmosphere in the house, we have, among other things, a pool table that can be transformed into a table tennis table, an adt timer, and a games cupboard that is used enthusiastically.
