Imagine being a short stroll from the most special spots in Florence. That’s where you’ll be when you stay at this cosy apartment. Our favourite feature is the balcony, which offers a glimpse of the Palazzo Vecchio – it’s the perfect perch for planning your day over breakfast. There’s a basic kitchen too (best for snacks or simple meals), but with so many cafes and restaurants right on your doorstep, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to sampling the local cuisine. Name a landmark in Florence and you can probably walk to it from here – and that’s the thing we love most of all.
*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home, which is on the fourth floor.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob and a microwave. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*One of the bedrooms has access to the balcony.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
